The first reason is that you can free up your storage on your device to improve performance and have more free space for later images and videos.

Another reason is that you will have a backup in case your phone is broken or stolen. And whatever the reason, Windows Phone 8.1 can automatically save your photos and videos to OneDrive. To do that, please watch the video showing how to set up easily and quickly:

Step by step instructions:

  1. Go to Settings and swipe left to Applications
  2. Select Photo + Video
  3. Scroll down to the Auto upload section and select OneDrive.
  4. Choose Best quality for Photo and Video

It is done! Your images and videos will only be uploaded when you have the best quality Wi-Fi connection. You can view your photos and videos online at Onedrive.live.com on your browser or use the Onedrive application that is supported by multiple platforms.

Will you set up to automatically backup your photos and videos to OneDrive? Let us know your opinion!
